2022 Midwest MLA Annual Meeting

The 81st meeting of the Music Library Association Midwest Chapter will be hosted in the beautiful surroundings of the Indiana University Bloomington Campus from Thursday Oct. 27th through Saturday Oct. 29th, 2022. The beautiful and well-appointed Indiana Memorial Union Biddle Hotel, located inside the Indiana Memorial Union at the heart of the Bloomington Campus, will be our hotel; and the Jacobs School of Music Musical Arts Center, the Simon Music Library & Recital Center, and the William and Gayle Cook Music Library our meeting spaces.

Please join us, come early, or stay longer and make time to enjoy the wealth of resources the Indiana University Bloomington Campus has to offer. There is something for every taste: from world class music concerts, ballet and opera productions; to state of the art venues and facilities including the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art, the Jacobs School of Music, and the Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center; and other Archives, Libraries and Research Centers such as the Archives of African American Music and Culture, Archives of Traditional Music, Herman B Wells Library, Folklore Collection, Kinsey Institute, Latin American Music Center, Lilly Library, Museum of Archeology and Anthropology/Mathers Museum of World Cultures, among others, that comprise the wealth of this academic institution and just within walking distance from the hotel.

This meeting is planned as a hybrid event, both in-person and virtual attendance options are being provided.
