Welcome to the home of the Midwest Chapter of the Music Library Association!
The Music Library Association (MLA) is a professional organization in the United States devoted to music librarianship and all aspects of music materials in libraries. Local chapters promote cooperation among music librarians and among libraries within a given region and provide a forum for discussion of library matters.
The Midwest chapter is open to anyone and everyone with an interest in music and libraries. Here you will find information about our organization, our members, upcoming regional and national MLA events, and information about music libraries across the midwestern United States. Our chapter includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
